The Role

SHYFT Power Solutions is looking for an experienced and dedicated Office Administrator to join the team at an exciting period of growth in our company. We are currently working on the operations side to build out more effective and efficient processes and procedures. In order for a seamless transition into the next level, we are seeking a proactive team member to support the day-to-day responsibilities required by our office and team.

What you'll do

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensuring office supplies are available and fully stocked
  • Manage emails, letters, packages, phone calls, and all other forms of correspondence
  • Maintaining the office’s organization and cleanliness
  • Management of office assets
  • Support employee onboarding and ongoing employee management to ensure team members are efficient and can focus on their core deliverables.
  • Manage agendas, travel arrangements, and itineraries of upper management and team members.
  • Support bookkeeping and budgeting procedures for the company 
  • Assist in maintaining and establishing accurate personnel records
  • Assistance with presentations and proposals
  • Organizing team events
  • Implementing our Employee Wellness Program
  • Support implementation of  high quality and cost-efficient projects that enable team efficiency 

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as an Office Administrator
  • Ability to thrive in fast paced and dynamic environments
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills 
  • Management experience with remote distributed and/or hybrid teams 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite 

Bonus Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Business Administration Experience (ability to sight new locations for expansion and make business propositions.)
  • Experience with insurance and taxes.
